On average, the Body can store up to 90 minutes worth of energy (Glycogen). We can only prepare our bodies, replace our stores and repair our muscles by eating the right foods.
The nutrition trick to master is being able to maintain your stores of energy (Glycogen) for as long as possible (therefore avoiding the dreaded 'Bonk' and supporting your body with essential fuel for Recovery post-excersice.)
To maintain your stores you need to eat, but you need to eat the right things. We believe real food performs best and that you need to eat before you're hungry, and drink before you're thirsty.

Almonds & Pistachios are a great source of protein, fibre and healthy mono-unsaturated fat (good fat). They are rich in essential proteins to repair muscle cells & support the immune system.
High in anti-oxidants, they contain a variety of vitamins and minerals (Vit E, manganese, B2, Magnesium & Potassium) which are proven to reduce the risk of heart disease, reduce cholesterol, help control blood-sugar levels, improve blood flow & delivery of oxygen & nutrients to your body - making them pretty handy for endurance sports.
Honey is rich in anti-oxidants, Vit B6 & thiamine. It is a totally natural carbohydrate that can be rapidly absorbed to deliver an instant boost in strength, energy & performance. It is proven to enhance endurance & reduce muscle fatigue in athletes.
Gram flour (or chickpea flour) is a pulse flour made from a variety of ground chickpea. Commonly used in vegan cooking, Gram flour contains a high proportion of carbohydrates, higher fibre and proportions of protein and no gluten.
